Goal of the IFRG Next Gen Funding

With the collective support of the WPSA working group's six (WG6) members and the industry's sponsorship, the IFRG NextGen Funding was established in 2024. The goal of IFRG NextGen Funding is to nurture the future of the next generations who are passionate about research in incubation and fertility. With the help of sponsors, funding will be made available for students worldwide who want to participate in the IFRG meetings but experience budget constraints. Aplication conditions IFRG Next Gen Funding

The number of IFRG NextGen Funding is dependent each year on the number of sponsors. The fund will cover the registration fee. Traveling costs will not be included in the funding, but travel grant options can be found at the bottom of this page.

Applications must be submitted at least one month before the meeting. When applying for the IFRG NextGen Funding, it's essential to provide the topic of your presentation and a letter of recommendation from your university or institute. The abstract doesn't need to be accepted at the time of application, but it will be part of the evaluation process. This ensures that all applications are considered fairly and based on their potential contribution to the field of incubation and fertility research.

The maximum age of the applicant is 40 years at the time of application, and the applicant must be a BSc, MSc, or PhD student enrolled in a research institute or university (not employed by a company) at the time of application.

Application Form

The application form must be filled out and accompanied by:

1. A copy of the abstract submitted or a copy of the letter of acceptance (if you have not yet received such a letter, you can send it later).  

2. Letter of recommendation from the Department Chair or Supervisor stating why you are a worthy candidate to receive the IFRG NextGen Funding.

All applications must be TYPED. The fund is not transferable and will be granted once per person. Incomplete or late submission will NOT be considered.
